Support at Home compliance documentation
Support at Home replaced Home Care Packages on 1 November 2025. Audit Rocket helps in-home aged care providers draft the policies and procedures for their registration categories under the Aged Care Act 2024.
Support for this industry is in beta. Every document is a draft for your review against the official standards before use.
Who this is for
Registered in-home aged care providers delivering Support at Home services, including care management, personal care, nursing, allied health, assistive technology and home modifications, either directly or through associated providers.
The regulatory framework
Support at Home commenced on 1 November 2025 alongside the Aged Care Act 2024, replacing Home Care Packages and Short-Term Restorative Care. Providers must be registered under the Act in the categories matching the services they deliver and must meet the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards that apply to those categories (generally Standards 1 to 6; Standard 7 applies to residential care only). Program requirements are set out in the Support at Home program manual published by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, and providers are regulated by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission.
